XIII Symposium in Pesticide Chemistry

The Institute of Agricultural and Environmental Chemistry of the Catholic University is pleased to announce the 13th edition of the Symposium in Pesticide Chemistry.

September 3-6, 2007 - Piacenza, Italy

The Symposium will address general and specialist issues relating to the environmental fate of pesticides and human health. Invited speakers will identify new problems and areas where research is necessary.

IMPORTANT NOTE

Poster size is maximum 90 x 120 cm. Poster should be displayed by Monday to Wednesday. Authors should attend during the poster session (Wednesday afternoon). Poster remain also accessible to attenders throughout the meeting for continued discussion. The cerimony for the best three poster is scheduled in the final conference session (Thursday).

Honorarium winner should partecipate at the social activities on Tuesday. Oral presenters will be provided of 20 minutes, 15 minutes for the presentation and 5 minutes for the discussion. Open lectures have 30 or 40 minutes plus 5 minutes for the discussion.

The Institute of Agricultural and Environmental Chemistry of the Catholic University is pleased to announce the 13th edition of the Symposium in Pesticide Chemistry

Environmental Fate and Human Health. The Symposium will be held from 3-6 September, 2007 in Piacenza - Italy.

The conference will present the latest research concerning the environmental fate of pesticides (in soil, water and air plants and biota) and impacts on human health (consumers, operators and bystanders).

Invited speakers will identify new problems and areas where research is necessary. Platform and poster presentations will set the stage for an overview of the progress of current research, and encourage constructive interaction between researchers involved in the study, control and forecasting of pesticide behavior in the air, plant, soil, food, biota and water system.

The 13th edition of the Symposium will be subdivided into sessions dedicated to laboratory and field studies, modelling, risk assessment, regulatory and policy issues and European research activities.
