The Institute of Agricultural and Environmental Chemistry of the Catholic University is pleased to announce the 13th edition of the Symposium in Pesticide Chemistry
Environmental Fate and Human Health. The Symposium will be held from 3-6 September, 2007 in Piacenza - Italy.
The conference will present the latest research concerning the environmental fate of pesticides (in soil, water and air plants and biota) and impacts on human health (consumers, operators and bystanders).
Invited speakers will identify new problems and areas where research is necessary. Platform and poster presentations will set the stage for an overview of the progress of current research, and encourage constructive interaction between researchers involved in the study, control and forecasting of pesticide behavior in the air, plant, soil, food, biota and water system.

The 13th edition of the Symposium will be subdivided into sessions dedicated to laboratory and field studies, modelling, risk assessment, regulatory and policy issues and European research activities. The Symposium programme will be of interest to environmental scientists from research organisations, industry, government and NGOs.
